CVM Security Scanning  CVM's proprietary Internet Security Scanning Service runs a port scan on your external facing Internet IP addresses each week. If a port status has changed since the last scan then the service alerts you to the change. CVM's Security Scanning service is essential for the SMB market where firewall configurations are often not monitored by dedicated staff.
The service has additional benefits such as an alert to a reverse name change in public DNS servers. As you may be aware, reverse resoltuion is an important attribute to assure proper email delivery. If a reverse pointer is changed accidentally by your ISP or DNS provider CVM will bring it to your attention.
